Generalized Digital Butterworth Filter Design
(FIR and IIR)

Lowpass digital Butterworth filter design. An arbitrary numerator and denominator degree, and a desired half-magnitude frequency can be specified. The filter produced by the program has a magnitude squared frequency response that is maximally flat at w=0 and at w=pi.
